Steadfast Stage 2 Cylinder Head Option: Thinking of building a p-pump 24 valve? Maybe this option will help you reconsider. Take your 140CFM restrictive 12 valve cylinder head to 175cfm--straight to 24 valve cylinder head territory. Not only will your peak flow numbers be slightly better than a factory 24v head, your low rpm intake air velocity will be higher thus helping you to spool a bigger single more effectively. Get all of the pro's of a 24v cylinder head without the cons.
24v head castings are more prone to cracks and dropping valve seats. With a 24v cylinder head there are 12 more opportunities to lose compression through valve leakage over time... besides that a 12 valve sounds cooler than anything else on the road!
While you're at it save your $1750 worth of acorns on the P-pump conversion lines and connector tubes.

No core to return? The core charge is $1500
Core isn't in ideal shape? No worries. We won't automatically hit you with a $1500 fee. Send us what you have we and we can at least give you a partial or majority core credit. Hole in the block? Pull your head off and send it to us. We can at least give you the $500 core credit for the cylinder head.
